
NorthStar CAD - Is based on advanced analytical routing techniques providing communication centers true Decision Support as well as integrated ESRI GIS. The merging of the LogiSYS Decision Support functionality with ESRI's GIS tools provides 911 professionals with the ability to manage their system while allowing GIS professionals to manage theirs without the need for cumbersome file conversion.
While NorthStar's integrated ESRI GIS is another innovation in public safety, its roots are still grounded in our original CAD designs which have always been based on advanced analytical routing techniques that provide communications centers with true decision support. After the call location is determined, NorthStar identifies the best resource(s) available to meet a particular circumstance and provides that information to the dispatcher. Other vendors use tabular files that have difficulty addressing Phase II call requirements. The LogiSYS Point-In-Polygon approach provides a caller's location and graphically displays that information on the integrated map while allowing for on-the-fly GIS updates with no CAD downtime.
DataTrak - Is a very robust Records Management System (RMS), created as an extension of our CAD system to address the needs of public safety agencies that must manage an ever-increasing knowledge base. Regardless of an agency's UCR, NIBRS, and/or NFIRS reporting requirements, DataTrak can provide all of the functionality required for comprehensive information management. As with all of our products, integration with CAD and GIS is the foundation of DataTrak. LogiSYS provides a visual map display of data elements in an easy-to-use format with a single point of entry. Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD)
NorthStar Remote CAD - Is ideal for small agencies and/or remote dispatching, and will provide you with all the necessary tools for your dispatching needs. The "simple to use" product provides all features from within one CAD screen. NorthStar Remote is tailored to meet the specialized needs for your site's dispatching environment. While LogiSYS is renowned for excellence with multi-jurisdictional dispatching your systems can be configured to allow for dispatchers to respond to any 911 call in an effective way.
NorthStar Remote CAD provides many features such as advanced unit recommendation, call stacking that aids in limited resource situations, intelligent travel directions and integrated AVL. NorthStar Remote's enhanced dispatch features include site configurable dispatch screens, which were developed by LogiSYS for your personnel's ease of use.
Also, you get address-specific information such as site images, digital photos, building floor plans, apartment complex layouts, and an address radius search that provides information regarding adjacent addresses and hazardous material sweeps. Some of the most notable features may include Phase II Cellular compliant with integrated CAD Map display with complete ESRI integration that includes support of Landmarks, Boundaries, Discreet XY, Polygons, Lines and Point files.
MobileTrak - As a natural extension to the LogiSYS NorthStar CAD system, MobileTrak has a fully integrated mobile map display. MobileTrak can provide responding units with any information associated with a Call For Service (CFS), giving them the tools they need to respond and do their jobs as efficiently and safely as possible. This system has a very robust message switch supporting the following features: CFS viewing (active and archived), CFS creation, integrated map and map functions, emergency functionality and most CAD commands from the command line. LogiSYS can configure your system to include a Day/Night mode menu option. The Day/Night colors can be personalized by authorized personnel for users to provide for optimal individual settings. LogiSYS can also provide your system with preset command buttons on the mobile data computers.
One of MobileTrak's primary functions is Digital Dispatch. When a unit is attached to a CFS, the system sends a digital dispatch to the unit without any further action by the dispatcher. This is known as a "Silent Dispatch". MobileTrak is also equipped with all the latest technological features and benefits so your agency's needs are not only met but exceeded. LogiTrak can generate forms like accident reports, crime reports and citations. LogiTrak has a standardized method of entering incident reports, and accurate NIBRS reporting for a true picture of crime statistics within your agency.
LogiSYS provides a visual map display of data elements in an easy-to-use format with a single point of entry and with workflow capability that is second to none. Our system architecture includes master files for major databases dynamic case links, and electronic "to-do" list for automated work flow, ad-hoc reporting and end product report generation for agency and stat-specific reports.
Geographic Information Sysytem (GIS)
MapTrak - Logisys and its affiliates have over 28 years of experience creating digital maps for a variety of jurisdictions and applications throughout the US, Canada and Europe. LogiSYS was one of the first vendors to offer a CAD system with fully integrated GIS-based mapping capabilities. The heart of all LogiSYS products is the graphic coordinate-based street address file or geofile.
For the NorthStar CAD (formally FirstCall CAD), the mapping is used to dispatch resources and locate incidents. The computerized database is capable of geographically pinpointing a CFS location, assigning the location to an emergency response zone, and dispatching the appropriate resources. This functionality means that NorthStar CAD is well prepared for the FCC Docket 91-102/96-264 requirements, Phase I and II. for Databank RMS it is used to provide graphic analysis tools to plot locations of incidents, businesses, landmarks and other available information on the map display.
In the past, time consuming and expensive manual efforts were required to maintain any geographic database. But with LogiSYS software, agency staff will be able to easily modify and update their own geofile using LogiSYS' graphics tools. We also adhere to many industry standards for GIS integration.
